Is not using basic grammar (eg ‘dressing’ & ‘dressed’, ‘eating’ & ‘ate’, ‘toy’ & ‘toys’)
Is not using ‘little’ words such as ‘is’, ‘are’, ‘the’, ‘an’, ‘on’, ‘in’, etc
Doesn’t know a large number of words (3 year olds typically have around 800 words in their vocabulary, including verbs, nouns and adjectives)
Is not enjoying social interactions with peers
