Liberty Allied Health (Liberty Speech Pathology) is a well-established paediatric practice in Tea Tree Gully, South Australia, with 20 years experience providing services to children. We are a multi-disciplinary team offering speech pathology and occupational therapy (both paediatric and adult) and also have psychologists working onsite.

Allied Health Admin Receptionist

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our clinic, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reception. You will manage appointments, respond to enquiries, and support our clinical team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming families and creating a positive first impression
  • Managing a high volume of phone calls and emails with professionalism and warmth
  • Efficiently scheduling and coordinating appointments across multiple calendars
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing and following up on client paperwork
  • Contributing to a supportive team environment
  • Building relationships with schools and external providers
  • Familiarity with NDIS, Medicare, and DCP (Dept. of Child Protection) procedures
  • Providing general administrative support to the clinic team

About You

  • Proven experience in a front desk or reception role (essential)
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience in reception administration
  • Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to take initiative
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in general office software
  • Warm, professional, and engaging
  • Confident in building rapport with a wide range of people
  • Current DCSI clearance
  • Australian permanent residency/citizenship

What We’re Looking For

You are someone who can quickly step into the role with confidence and contribute from day one. Your previous experience in a similar position will enable you to work efficiently and adapt to a busy clinic environment.

Working Hours

  • 4–5 days per week (negotiable)
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm
