Liberty Allied Health was established in 2005 (originally Liberty Speech Pathology) and has grown into a trusted allied health clinic providing speech pathology and occupational therapy services for children and adolescents. Psychologists also operate from our premises, allowing families to access complementary supports in one convenient location.

With nearly two decades of experience, our team has supported thousands of children and families to achieve meaningful, lasting progress.

Absolutely. Liberty Allied Health is a bright, welcoming and engaging clinic designed specifically with children and teenagers in mind. Our therapy rooms are stocked with age-appropriate games, activities and resources that help children feel comfortable, motivated and excited to attend therapy.

Yes. Ongoing professional development is a core priority at Liberty Allied Health.

Our clinicians participate in regular in-house training and external professional development covering areas such as:

  • Autism spectrum disorder

  • Hearing impairment

  • Stuttering

  • Literacy development

  • Evidence-based speech therapy techniques

  • Evidence-based occupational therapy approaches

Our speech pathologists are members of Speech Pathology Australia and actively maintain their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements to ensure best-practice care.

Building strong rapport is essential to successful therapy. At Liberty Allied Health, our therapists are highly experienced in connecting with children and teenagers.

We believe therapy should be positive, engaging and fun, and our extensive range of games and activities helps children feel relaxed and confident. Many of our young clients genuinely love coming to see their therapist — and that connection helps drive real progress.

Liberty Allied Health has been supporting children and families for over 20 years. During this time, we have delivered assessments and therapy in both clinic and school settings, working with children of all ages, abilities and diagnoses.

Our long-standing experience means families can feel confident they are accessing knowledgeable and skilled clinicians.

Based on years of clinical experience, we find 60-minute sessions provide the best balance for children.

  • Approximately 45 minutes of direct therapy time

  • 15 minutes for documentation and planning

Short sessions often don’t allow enough time to practise and consolidate skills, while long sessions can be challenging for children to sustain attention.

Liberty Allied Health is extensively resourced. Our clinic holds a large and continually expanding collection of high-quality therapy materials.

In addition to purchased resources, our clinicians have created hundreds of customised therapy resources to meet the individual needs of our clients, ensuring therapy remains targeted, engaging and effective.

Yes. We value a balanced team of highly experienced clinicians and enthusiastic new graduates.

New graduates bring strong foundations in current research, technology and evidence-based practice, while experienced clinicians provide mentorship, guidance and advanced clinical insight. All therapists receive regular supervision, training and support to ensure consistently high standards of care.

We understand that private allied health services are a significant investment. Liberty Allied Health aims to keep fees as affordable as possible while maintaining high-quality, evidence-based services.
